Anxiety Counselling for People in Relationships

What Is Anxiety Counselling?

It has been estimated that as much as 19% of all relationships are negatively impacted by anxiety. To find out more about the symptoms of Anxiety and how it can impact your relationships follow this link (What is Anxiety)

Counselling for anxiety is it is the process of clarifying and identifying the causes of your relationship anxieties and then formulating effective solutions. Once the plan has been put into action I then support you throughout the whole process until your anxieties are eliminated. In many cases anxiety counselling is the first place to start when you have to deal with difficult relationship situations.

Anxiety Counselling differs from Psychotherapy for relationship anxiety in a number of ways. Counselling for anxiety in relationships is suited to simpler and milder forms of relationship anxiety. While Psychotherapy for anxiety is better suited to more difficult and severe anxiety problems. Some people need simple anxiety counselling in order to solve every day relationship problems. Where anxiety counselling is not enough I would always recommend Psychotherapy for anxiety.

How does counselling for relationship anxiety work?

During the process of Counselling I listen and clarify your situation, looking for the causes and other circumstances that contribute to your concerns. As your counsellor I will then provide you with the most suitable solutions and answers for your problems. Counselling will give you solutions, strategies and ideas that you may not have been able to employ on your own. In many cases just discussing your concerns with a professional counsellor will help. Once the process is begun I will support you all the way through the process until your anxieties are eliminated.

Anyone who needs another point of view; or someone who simply wants to discuss their relationship issues in private before making important decisions.
